How The Spot Check handles product names, current offer wording, testimonials and the limits of supporting documents.
Attach the claim to its context
An affirmative sentence in the claim reader is a proposition under examination. The Claim to examine label, source explanation and limitation belong together. The reader does not turn an unsupported statement into a finding by repeating it.
Use the exact product record
A cosmetic and a prescription preparation may have similar names. Their ingredients, prices and evidence remain separate. A possible ingredient menu cannot establish an individual prescription, and an unfamiliar URL term does not establish a counterfeit product.
Keep the commercial units visible
A displayed monthly amount is read beside the total, period, relevant fees and conditions. Conflicting wording stays identified as a conflict. We do not create a missing plan through arithmetic, infer a supplied quantity or silently resolve contradictory statements.
Treat experiences and evidence differently
Testimonials and automated summaries can describe reported experiences. They do not by themselves establish causation, typical results or study outcomes. A limit on what is verified is not an accusation that a reviewer fabricated an experience.
Show the publication’s work and limits
Articles cite original documents and connect to an open source register. Source dates refer to access rather than permanent terms. Commercial placement is disclosed; no personalized strength, duration, compatibility or start-and-stop decision is provided.
